I was diagnosed with Ostoegenesis Imperfecta at birth and have since had over 80 fractures and 19 surgeries, with titanium steel in my spine, hips, femurs and tibias. I try not to let this slow me down, and maintain my wheelchair is just for mobility!
I completed my degree at USC, living on campus and maintaining a 4.0 in the Honors Engineering program. My major was computer/electrical engineering, with an emphasis on programming and a minor in multi-media. I have enjoyed being involved in the Granada Family Charity Benefit since I pitched the value of investing in OI to the first committee in 1986. I send my heartfelt thanks to all the people that have helped with the Charity Benefit over these last fifteen years. You guys make this happen!
